FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Any writer who is serious about committing to their craft (and over 18 years of age!) is eligible to join The Anchorage. We welcome poets, translators, novelists, memoirists, journalists, writers of short stories, playwrights, graphic novelists, and wizards who are mixing genres in magical ways.
All members commit to their own writing, and to participating fully in the online community, including the four seasonal workshops. All members will both share their own work and provide attentive and constructive feedback to their group mates.
WHY SHOULD I JOIN?
The Anchorage supports writers who are serious about improving their craft, finishing a book project, and expanding their literary community. Members can expect to benefit from the accountability and encouragement provided by our deadlines and workshops, from the expertise of master writers, and from the camaraderie of our online community.
CAN I PAY FOR MY MEMBERSHIP IN INSTALLMENTS?
Payment in full is required in order to reserve your spot at The Anchorage. You may, however, be eligible for Paypal's interest-free installment plans, including Pay in 4 or 6-month special financing. Choose Paypal at checkout to see your options.
HOW OFTEN DOES THE ANCHORAGE MEET?

For the July 2021 - June 2022 cycle, meetings will be held once or twice a month on Thursday evenings, 6-8:30 PM Central Time.
